This is the final version of Snuggles. Snuggles 1.0 ( [link] ) was made from latex and expanding foam and was really more of a dummy cast in order to have a play around with the paint job and see how well the latex would pick up the detail.

This one was a fiberglass cast and worked SO much better. However, the helmet didn't fit my head due to some design flaws and my teacher was somewhat displeased, sending me into a depressed spiral of self-doubt.

However, I still like Snuggles 2.0 and decided to use him to showcase my first animatronic rig. Vid of the rig working is here - [link]

Inspiration for the sculpt was the Kurgan from Highlander, a dash of H.R. Giger and my own twisted brain.

Aint he just the snuggliest lil skull?

(lol that's totally awesome ^w^ my stepdad and his family work with fiberglass so it's even cooler what it can do in a smaller form :D)

He's angry 'cos I havent fixed up his motion sensor yet. He wants to scare people and he just can't. If he had feet he would be stomping them in a tantrum :p
